Angélica Rotondaro

Angélica is a founding member and advisor of Alimi Impact Ventures, co-founder the multi-stakeholder platform Impact Investing Latin America (IILA) and a member of the Advisory board of Insper-Metricis. She is also a lecturer about Social Finance, Impact Investing and Sustainable Value Chains in Brazil and in Switzerland.

She was responsible for the establishment of the University of St.Gallen office for Latin America based in São Paulo, where she held the positon of Managing Director from 2009 to 2017.

Before that she worked for Holcim for 10 years in Brazil and Switzerland (expat), first in the area of Marketing, Communications & Public Relations and afterwards as Brand Management Senior Consultant for Latam countries and Spain. And previously she worked in the area of Marketing and Communications in the companies: Bechtel, ABB, Bayer and Kodak.

She has an extensive knowledge about CSR and Environmental Communications: developed environmental services brand and business strategy – Geocycle - followed by its implementation in Asia, USA and Costa Rica. Launched and headed a Foundation for Private Investment in the Third Sector: Instituto Holcim .

PhD in Organizational Studies and Cultural Theory at University of St. Gallen Switzerland (2012).

She plays the flute and is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and good knowledge of German.
